33 wood pieces is a sculptural work in which 33 pieces of beech were cut in an independent way, and whose reunification gives rise to a ballot box of human size. The components remain removable, making it possible to create openings in the exposed membrane, but also to present, by the means of the performance, the construction of this kind of “wall”.


Across the simple exercise of the self-portrait, it acts to start a thought on the perception of individuality. There, to divert the significant of the amphora is equivalent to pose the body as a containing object, suitable to define the identity, the self-awareness… The individual one implies to exist a split unit, a fission in the place, which places I and You on both sides of this cut of space.
Interspace, a more or less permeable membrane, which becomes interface by ensuring the physical communication of the one the other…
